MAC OPEN Summer Classic 2023
Please fill out our google form if you are interested in participating in the MAC OPEN Summer Classic Piano and Vocal Competition. The competition is taking place at Kawaii Music Lesson Studios (formally known as Evola) in Shelby Township Friday August 4th, 2023 - Sunday August 6th, 2023. If interested, virtual options are available - follow the instructions below accordingly. Events will be moved to Zoom If the state mandates another Stay at Home Order at the time of our planned events. No refunds will be given, since we have the back-up plan of a Virtual Competition.
August 4, 2023, Friday Events Include: Evaluations
August 5, 2023, Saturday Events Include: Central League Divisions (Solo chosen from required JAZZ list) and Evaluations
August 6, 2023, Sunday Events Include: Competition and Evaluation
Each Event Fee is $30 Cash or Check made out to MAC. Please return to: MAC 33194 Morrison Court Sterling Heights, MI 48312.
The registration deadline is Sunday, July 9th, 2023.
Participants may not request certain times or changes.
No Refunds will be given.
All solos must be memorized, with the exception of Evaluations. Original copies of the music must be provided to the judge with all the measures numbered. IF this is not done, it is up to that judge how many points they will take off.
